This is stunning.

The tonality is phenomenal as is the line work. The costume design is divine, I love the period pieces, the pleating is very well done. The mood of the piece is also beautiful, it reminds me of the art of Edward Gorey. The low saturation coloring is very subtle and accents the image well. I wish the fabric had a bit more thickness so that the lace and frill could be distinguished from the rest of the cloth by more than mere contour, but this is a minor error.

Very well done. :)

Thanks for such a thoughtful comment. : D

The line work is amazing, I spent a long time looking at the really tiny lines that generate the shading, and your coloring job is awesome. Great work.

A new scanner and an amazing piece of artwork.

For a moment I thought you had just scanned an old engraving but then I realised that I must be one of your own pieces of work.

Amazing line work worthy of the old masters of engraving. Nice composition and oh my what attention to detail. 10/10

'But I don’t want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
Oh, you can’t help that said the Cat. We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad
'How do you know I’m mad' said Alice.
'You must be,” said the Cat. 'or you wouldn’t have come here'

I love the detailed line artwork & all the crosshatching you did to make the shading. The somber monochromatic colouring is perfect for the 1850's look. This is really fabulous. :+favlove:
